Family Ministry Mission Statement
"To support and equip all types of families in all stages of life with hope and strength through a relationship wtih Jesus Christ."
What is a "Family"?
"Family is not just a unit made up of a mom, dad, 2.1 children, a dog and a cat - it is a unit that consists of people with which you spend the most time...friends, roomates, significant others, co-workers..."

Winter 2012 Events
December
4th-Shoebox Assembly: We will gather to stuff and wrap the shoeboxes that will be delivered to the inner city of Racine homes. Allowing the families to have a special Christmas.
17th-Shoebox Delivery: arrive to church by 9am to help load up the shoeboxes in to the vehicles. We will be working with Ron and Donna Fry and Lazarus House ministry in delivering the shoeboxes to the inner city family homes all afternoon. After God’s work is done we will enjoy a sweat treat at A&W!
18th-B.A.S.I.C. Christmas Party: from 11:30am-2pm, we will enjoy some Christmas trivia, white elephant gift exchange, traditional Christmas movies and more
January
8th-Sunday School Resumes: Large group opening with Uplift
14th- 4th Annual NCLC Youth Missions Ice Fishing Jamboree & Meat Raffles: From 10am-6pm @ A.J's Bar and Grill in Muskego, a detailed event flyer is located on the home page, and all mission trip participants must be apart of this event.
27th-28th-Invitation to serve: calling all high school student leaders to join in this event. You will partake in workshops, speakers, and other fellowship in your decernment process of your leadership with the church. Cost is only $40. Event runs from 6pm friday night till 4pm on Saturday. Registration deadline is January 15th.
29th-B.A.S.I.C Youth Group: from 5:30-8pm evenings theme is Ultimate Sardines! We will spend the entire evening playing sardines! If you haven't ever played before, please come, it will be a great time. This is the most popular game in youth group.
February
10-11th-HALO Lock-In: a lock in with servanthood style. We will gather together on friday eveningand enjoy all the fellowship that a lock in offers, along with preparing the meal that we will serve on Saturday afternoon at HALO. All participants are asked to raise money to also help support the mission of HALO.
12th-Camp Sunday: Come and hear all the exciting things that will happen at Lutherdale Bible camp for the 2012 Summer! Also there are great discounts on registration for that day only.
26th-B.A.S.I.C. Youth group: 5:30-8pm, come and enjoy a pizza party and board games. Bring your favorite bord game and pizza topping! We will prepare homemade pizzas and play some games!

China Grove, North Carolina
June 23rd-July 1st
Each summer for the past 12 years, a group of participants that represent our congregation, North Cape Lutheran Church, have served as God’s hands and feet to others across the country. We have traveled to 10 different states and Canada. This summer we will be taking a group of 20-25 high school youth and chaperones out to China Grove, NC, to repair and weatherize homes for the elderly, poor, and handicapped.
The vision of North Cape Youth Missions is to connect and equip youth and adults in the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ and grow as disciples in personal faith and responsibility. We fulfill this vision not only through our local ministries in Racine, and through our annual mission trips that are accross the country!
